  Donald M. Fuhrmann, 81, Appleton, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was born on December 17, 1934 to the late Ervin and Rose (Stickney) Fuhrmann in Birnamwood, WI. He attended Clintonville High School and worked as a Leather Cutter for Zwicker Knitting Mills. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and feeding the birds. He always had a green thumb for gardening and was proud of his tomato plants. He is survived by his three children; Susan (Terry) Hammel, Paula (Emory) Elbe, Sarah (Randy) Lamb; grandchildren, Stephanie and Jason Hammel, Tyrone, Tanya and Alex Elbe and Brandon Lamb; brother, Gene (Bernice) Fuhrmann; step-children, Bob (Maggie) Jansen and Judy (Roy) Garvin; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, June; grandson, Randy Jr. "Ranch" Lamb; and sister, Mabel (Laverne) Stoffel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, from 2 pm to the time of funeral service at 4 pm.
