  Died – At his home in Chilton town on Friday, Aug. 25, 1893, MATHEW BARRY, 92 years, 10 months and 29 days. Deceased was born in the county Cork, Ireland, Dec. 24, 1800. He came to America in 1832 and located at Erie, Pa., where he remained until 1855, when he removed to the town of Granville, Milwaukee county, this state. He engaged in farming and by hard work succeeded in making for himself and family a good home. In 1871 he sold his farm and moved to Chilton, were he resided until called to his Maker. He was an honest, upright citizen, a kind and obliging neighbor and a loving and devoted father. The funeral took place on Sunday from the St. Augustine Catholic church of which he has a devout member. A widow, three sons and two daughters are left to mourn his death. Among those from abroad who were in attendance at the funeral were; John H. Barry and son, Russell and Mrs. A. Sullivan of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. D. Donovan and Mrs. Jos. Finucane of Kaukauna, Mr. and Mrs. D. Carroll of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. M. Fitzgerald of Fond du Lac, Mr. Wm Fitzgerald and sister Miss Mary, of Taycheedah, Dr. and Mrs. G. P.
