  Jacob Becker, a well known resident of our city, died on Wednesday at the ripe old age of ninety years. The deceased was born in Germany in 1835 and came to America with his parents in 1855, the family settling in Kiel. In 1870 Mr. Becker moved to Brillion town where he owned a farm. Four years prior to this in 1864 he had been married to Katherine Arnold at Kiel. She died in 1879 and a year later he was united in marriage to Caroline Stache who now survives him. There are four sons, John of Sheboygan, August of Appleton, and Louis and Henry of this city. Also two daughters, Augusta of Thorpe and Bertha of Sheboygan. He was a member of the Evang. Friedens Church of this cioty and the funeral will take place tomorrow at the church. Rev. Leonhardt officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff cemetery. Brillion News - July 17, 1925
