  Delores M. Skenandore, 74, Seymour, died Friday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2008, at home following a lengthily illness. The daughter of the late Isadore and Beatrice (Hill) Doxtator was born April 4, 1934, in Tomah. She married Corneil Skenandore on Sept. 5, 1953. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1978. She then married Clarence Skenandore on Nov. 21, 1980, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 1999. Delores enjoyed cooking, especially corn bread and corn soup. Survivors include her daughter, Electa and Adrian Cortier; one son, Hartman Skenandore; one step-daughter, Terry Skenandore; grandchildren, Elliot, Morning Star, Elton and Ellerey, as well as sisters, Roberta Doxtator and family, Brenda Doxtator and family and Carol and her family. She was preceded in death by her two husbands; parents; son, Corneil "Junior" Skenandore and a step-son, Keith Skenandore. Family and friends may call at Oneida United Methodist Church, Freedom Road, Oneida from 9 a.m. to Noon on Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, (tomorrow). Oneida Indian Hymn Singing will begin at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday at the church with the Rev. Earl Smith, officiating. Inurnment in church cemetery.
