  Mrs. Chester Pues (Minnie), Route 1, Bonduel, age 75, died early Wednesday morning at the Shawano Community Hospital following a lingering illness. The former Minnie Rief, daughter of the late John and Sophia Rief, was born September 22, 1897 in Navarino and lived in that area all of her life. She and her husband were married on November 12, 1919 in Navarino. She was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church, the ALCW, and an honorary member of the Home-maker's Club, all of Navarino. Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Ed (Edith) Tremmel, Stephensville, Wisconsin; and Mrs. James(Edna) Dingeldein, Navarino; five sons: Virgil, Waupun: Wendell , Navarino: Marvin and Harvey, both of Neenah: and Arlyn, Appleton; two sisters: Mrs. Lily Ness, Green Bay; and Mrs. Ernest (Mathilda) Wolfe, Shawano: 26 grandchildren: and 28 great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in August 1970. The funeral will be 1:30 on Saturday at the Ascension Lutheran Church, Navarino with the Rev. Steven Larson officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Navarino. Friends may call at the Muehl Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and on Saturday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
