  Nett, James C.James C. Nett, 70, of Appleton, died on Wednesday, September 21, 200 5, at his home. Jim was born on September 5, 1935, to the late Sylvester a nd Josephine (Franzen) Nett. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Lieberg en on May 13, 1954; they were married for 34 years. Jim was employed at Am erican Can Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed huntin g, fishing, carpentry and tractor driving.Survivors include his children: Robert (Mary) Nett, Pulaski; Sharon (Ric k) Eick, Appleton; Cindy (Dan) McCarty, Tucson, Arizona; and David (Lor i) Nett, Oshkosh; his five grandchildren: Lisa Nett, Madison; Charles Net t, Beldenville; Ben (Laura) Eick, Appleton; Adam and Leah McCarty, Tucso n, Arizona; his five brothers and sisters: Sylvester (Rose) Nett, Appleto n; Ralph (Annette) Nett, Menasha; Eugene (Constance) Nett, Menasha; Paul N ett, Weyauwega; Peter Nett, New London; Linda (Tom) Duesterhoeft, Appleto n; and Judy (Joseph) Lillie, Butternut. He is further survived by his form er wife, Marilyn, his special friend Carol Denzel, Kaukauna; and numero us nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his step-sisters: Genevieve (Norman) Bowe a nd Joanne Nett.The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 200 5, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, N341 Military Road, Sherwood, Wisconsi n, with Fr. David M. Zimmerman officiating. Friends may call at the Wichma nn Funeral Home, Appleton, on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again direct ly at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
