  Mrs. Henry Gunderman, whose death occurred on Tuesday, May 29, at the home of her son-in-law, Edw. Knickerbocker at Hilbert, was buried on Thursday afternoon of last week, Rev. W. A. Arpke of the Reformed church of this city officiating with interment in the cemetery at Potter. Mrs. Gunderman was a native of Mechlenburg, Germany, where she was born Oct. 15, 1843. In 1869 she accompanied her parents to America and they located in the town of Mosel, Sheboygan county. She was married in 1871 to Henry Gunderman and resided in Howard Grove for years and then purchased a farm in the town of Rantoul, later moved to the town of Chilton where they remained until the spring of 1916 when she and her husband moved to Hilbert. She was a devout Christian mother and was held in high respect by those who knew her. She is survived by a husband, a son, Gus and a daughter, Mrs. Edw. Knickerbocker.
