  Fred (Fritz) Haun; Sparta, WI - Fred (Fritz) Haun, 85, of Sparta, died Sun day evening, April 5, 1998, at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Facility, Spart a. He was born on St Mary's Ridge, Monroe County, Wis., on April 15, 191 2, the son of Joseph and Anna (Schreier) Haun. He was united in marria ge to Annabel Leis on May 22, 1939, in Pine Hollow. They farmed on St Mar y's Ridge and he worked for Schendel Bros. until May of 1971, when they mo ved to Sparta. He was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church, Spart a. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Sylveste r. He was survived by his wife, Annabel; two daughters, Karen (James) Ba us of La Crosse and Mary (Jack) Mlsna of Mount Horeb, Wis; seven sons, Don ald (Arlene) Haun of Antioch IL, Roger (Barbara) Haun of Portage, Gerald ( Rosie) Haun of Cashton, James (Toni) Haun of Rockland, Charles (Indry) Ha un of Green Bay, Roberts (Beth) Haun of Sparta, and Philip (Monica) Ha un of Tomah; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ma rgaret Brueggeman of Sparta and Josephine Erpenbach of Norwalk. The funer al services will be held at 11 am Wednesday at St Patrick's Catholic Churc h, Sparta, with Rev. Mark Walljasper officiating. Burial will be in t he St Mary's Catholic Cemetery at St Mary's Ridge. Friends may call at t he Page-Smith Funeral Home, Sparta, today from 4 to 9pm, with a rosa ry at 8:30pm and on Wednesday from 8 to 10:45am. Memorials may be giv en to the St Patrick's Endowment Fund.

  Leis - Haun Nuptials At Pine Hollow Church; At a Nuptial High Mass Mond ay Morning at 9 o'clock the marriage of Miss Annabel Leis, daught er of Mr and Mrs Herman Leis Jr, to Fred Haun, son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Ha un, took place at Pine Hollow with the Rev. William Daniels performing t he ceremony. The bride wore a floor-length dress of white lace and a trail ing veil which was held to her head by a cap adorned with seed pearls. S he carried white carnations. The bride chose as her bridesmaid her frie nd Verna Chapiewsky who wore a full skirted dress of blue net with an embr oidered net jacket. Her belt and tiara were pink and she carried pink carn ations. Alfred Leis, brother of the bride, served as best man. He and t he bride groom wore dark suits. Dinner and supper were served at the ho me of the bride's parents to the immediate families, and a Wedding dance w as held at the Community hall in the evening for a large gathering of rela tives and friends. The young couple left for a trip to La Crosse and we nt on up to Winona to visit the Rev Father Haun at St Mary's College and o ther relatives in Winona. The young couple will make their home with Mr Ha un's parents, new St Mary's Ridge.
