  Burton A. Post 618 E. Roosevelt St. Age 85, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Friday. He was born August 9, 1881 in Shiocton and had been a resident of Appleton for the past 60 years and had been a Power Engineer During World War II he received a government award for research concerning fuel consumption savings. He had been associated with the Eisele Engineering Company at one time and at the time of his retirement he was an engineering supply salesman with the A. H. Therice Company, Chicago. He was a member of the U.C.T., and a life member of the National Association of Power Engineers, Inc. Mr. Post is survived by his wife Viola; one daughter, Mrs. Sylvester J. (Annette) Adrian, Appleton: two sisters, Mrs. Lessie Barlow and Miss Jessie Post, both of Oshkosh; 9 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and Franklin Post and by one daughter, Mrs. David (Bonita) Cowling. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Wichmann Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph C. Sundgren officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A memorial fund is being established for the American Cancer Society. Saturday, April 29, 1967, Appleton Post-Crescent, Appleton, WI. B-8
