DEATHS WILLIAM GOESE William Goese, 8O, died at his home, 322 W. Tenth-st, Kaukauna; about 9 o'clock this morning follow ing an illness of more than a year. Mr. Goeso was born in Germany and had lived in Kaukauna for 47 years. For many years he was employed with the Chicago and Northwestern railroad. Survivors are his widow four sons, Hugo and William, Jr., Kaukauna, Rueben and Albert, Mil waukee; four daughters, Olga, Alma Betty and Mrs. B. J. Dalton, of Chicago. Mr. Goese was a member of Trinity Evangelical church, from where funeral services will be held. The time for the services has not yet been set. Appleton Post-Crescent \| Appleton, Wisconsin \| Saturday, June 06, 1931 \| Page 4 HOLD RITES FOR WILLIAM GOESE Funeral Services for Pioneer Resident Conducted at Kaukauna Kaukauna— Funeral services for William Goese, 80, who died after a long illness at his home on Tenth st Saturday morning, were held at 1.30 Tuesday afternoon at the home and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church. The Rev. P. Oehlert was in charge. Burial was in Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Goese, who was born in Germany in 1851, came to the United States when he was a young man. He resided in Kaukauna for the last 50 years. For a number of years he was employed in the Chicago and Northwestern railroad shops here. Survivors are his widow; four sons, Albert and Reuben Goese of Milwaukee; William and Hugo Goese of Kaukauna; four daughters, Mrs. D. J. Dalton, Misses Betty, Olga and Alma Goese of Chicago; two sisteis, Mrs. Lena Streck of Woodville, and Mrs. F. Schlefelbein of Kaukauna.
