  Bernard "Ben" Guyette, 70, Green Bay, died peacefully at his home on Oct. 30, 2007, surrounded by family. Born in Ewen, Mich., he is the son of the late Francis and Alice (Phillips) Guyette. He is a 1956 graduate of West De Pere High School. Shortly following graduation he joined the United States Navy, where he served aboard a number of ships in Vietnam. On Sept. 2, 1958, he married the former Sue Monroe in San Diego, Calif. Ben enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, woodworking, and watching sports on television - especially the Packers. He also enjoyed listening to Cajun, bluegrass, and oldies music. Ben is survived by three loving children, Bill and Robyn Guyette, Tony and Jan Guyette, both of Green Bay; Linda and Jerry Anderson, Lafayette, Colo.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Sylvester and Vicki Guyette, Green Bay; three sisters, Leona and Allen Peters, Betty Cornette, Patricia and Gary Simon, all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Vincent, Norbert, Richard, and Ray Guyette; two sisters, Agnes Peters and Margaret Obey; one brother-in-law: Anthony Cornette. Ben's wishes were to have no public funeral or burial. Private services were held at MALCORE (WEST) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Asera Care Hospice, Pastor Jerry Lewin, Jr., Dr. Edward Bantamoi, and Sharon Hisel.
