  Lloyd H. Behnke, age 81, of Reedsville, died unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Bellin Health in Green Bay. He was born Aug. 20, 1925, in the town of Rockland, son of the late Ernst and Selma (Herzog) Behnke. He married Florence J. Behnke on April 14, 1951. She preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 1986. He then married Lorraine Loose on July 14, 1990. He farmed in the town of Rockland his entire life. He loved his horses and his riding club. He was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville, a lifetime member of the Rockea Hunting Club and a member of the ASCS/FSA serving for over 25 years. Survivors include his children: Dale and Anita Behnke of Reedsville, Donald and Lynne Behnke of Freedom, Nancy Behnke and special friend Richard Baumgartner of St. Cloud and Darlene and Mark Propson of Cato; his mother-in-law: Ruth Behnke of Hilbert; seven grandchildren: Angela (Jason) Miller, Annette (Keith) Mroczynski, Jr., Michael (Lacey) Behnke, Erin (Ben) Schultz, Derek Behnke, and Briana and Heidi Propson; three great-grandchildren: Samantha and Megan Miller and Keith Mroczynski III; two sisters: Gertrude Haese of Two Rivers and Germaine Schuh of Oregon, Ohio; and a brother: Norman (Inez) Behnke of Columbus, Ohio; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Janice and George Schroeder of Hilbert, Caroline Behnke of Hilbert and Dorothy and Elliot Maile of Brillion. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: George Behnke, a sister: Myrtle and two brothers-in-law: Bill Schuh and Rueben Behnke. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 601 E. National Ave. in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Nommensen will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John St. James Westside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and then at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
