He had farmed in the Grand Chute area a nd was a partner in the form er Hietpas Dairy. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church , a memb er of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include his wife, Marie ( Vanden Heuv el) Hietpas; a daughter, Peg (Bill) Bongers, Little Chute; a s on, Dick (Sansee) Hietpas, Gree n Bay; six grandchildren; Betsy & Dan Herm us, Barb Bongers, Eric and Lori Peterson, Amy and P at Daul, Missy and Hei di Hietpas; six great grandchildren; Melissa, Emily and Ben Hermus, Ama n da and Robbie Daul, Jade Hietpas.
