  Huss, LloydLloyd Huss age 77, of New London, formerly of Shiocton, passed away on Fri day March 24, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center following a brief battle wi th cancer. He was born on January 10, 1929, son of the late Nicholas & An na Huss. On August 4, 1951, he married Phley Van Landghen in Little Chut e. Lloyd and Phley owned and operated the Corner Bar in De Pere for sever al years. He then worked at Bahcalls in Appleton for many years and then f inally retired just last month after working for Margie's Cleaning Servic e.He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Phley; his children: Dav id Huss, Jean Jones, Linda (Dan) Depner, Celia (Joe) Diehl; his grandchild ren: Dan and Casey Jones, Chris and Lisa Diehl, Anna and Christie Depne r; two great-grandsons: Zackary and Connor Jones; a brother: Vincent (Grac e) Huss; a sister: Marian Ploederl; also six brothers and sisters in la w, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Orville "Bud" (Mae) Hus s, a sister Isabelle (Whimpey) Whittman, and a brother-in-law Harry Ploede rl.The funeral service for Lloyd will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 2 7, 2006, at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton with Rev. Jose ph Bessler officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Ap pleton. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p. m. until the time of the service.
