  Hollandtown Leroy G. VandeWettering, age 80, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 31, 2011. He was born on December 27, 1930, in the town of Holland, son of the late William and Martha (Huss) VandeWettering. Leroy farmed in partnership with his brother in the town of Holland. He was proud to be part of the third generation, overseeing the next generation on the family farm. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, going "north," and was always within reach of a deck of cards. Paul, Sara, Maria, Sean, Josh, Luke, and Tyler thank him for being that "special" Uncle. Survivors include his brother, Tim (Dorothy) VandeWettering; two sisters: Dorothy Coppus and Judy (Carl) Bowers; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Wells. Leroy is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters and brothers-in-law: Rosella (Roman) Kolbe, Mary Wells, and Bernard Coppus. The Mass of Christian Burial for Leroy will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish @ ST. FRANCIS CHURCH in Hollandtown with Fr. Jerry Pastors celebrating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the mass. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home in Kaukauna is assisting the family. (920-766-2099)
