  Mary Ann Krueger, age 80, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2 005, at Franciscan Care Center, Appleton. Mary Ann was born in St. Pau l, MN on July 17, 1925 to Joseph and Frances (Hurley) McCabe. She was marr ied to Robert O. Krueger. Mary Ann graduated from Appleton High Scho ol in 1943 and then continued her education in the Nursing Program at t he University of Minnesota graduating in 1946. She was a registered nur se at Oakridge Gardens and Colony Oaks for many years. As a nurse, she w as devoted to her geriatric patients. Mary Ann was a loving mother and gra ndmother. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Lakewood.Mary Ann is survived by three sons: Robert (Ann) Krueger of Appleton, Thom as Krueger of Appleton and Bill (Michele) Krueger of Georgia; four daughte rs: Julie (Stan) Karras of Appleton, Mary Krueger of Appleton, Jean Kruege r-Justinger of Sherwood and Kathleen Krueger of Appleton; ten grandchildr en and nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and a son James.Private Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, December 5, 200 5, at the Valley Funeral Home with Pastor Martin Ruge officiating. Visitat ion will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at H ighland Memorial Park.The family of Mary Ann would like to express a sincere thank you to a ll of the caregivers at Century Oaks, Franciscan Care Center and the Heart land Hospice staff.
