  Kerkhoff, Mrs. Elmer (Rita) Mrs. Elmer (Rita) Kerkhoff, 76, of Town of Rockland, passed away peaceful ly at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday morning, May 18, 2004, foll owing a long illness. The daughter of the late Patrick and Ella (Sulliva n) McCabe was born August 19, 1927 in the Town of Lawrence. On May 23, 194 6, she married Elmer Kerkhoff at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Wrightstow n. She was a volunteer and Past President of De Pere Christian Outreach a nd was a member of the St. Francis Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed garde ning and loved flowers.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Lynn Kerkhoff, Ap pleton, one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Jonet, Lakewood, thr ee grandchildren, Jennifer Roenfranz, David Kerkhoff, Katie Jackson, two g reat-grandchildren, Lily Kerkhoff and Anders Jackson, one brother and sist er-in-law, Bob and Delores McCabe, De Pere, four sisters, Doreen Sendzi k, Dorothy VanDerLoop. Betty (Clarence) Van De Hei, Elaine Van Domelen.Preceded in death by two brothers, Jack McCabe and Jim McCabe.Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, fr om 4:30 to 7:30 pm Thursday, May 20, 2004. Parish prayer service will be h eld at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9:30 am Friday at St. Franc is Catholic Church, De Pere until time of service. Mass of Christian Buri al will be held at 10:30 am Friday at the church with the Rev. V. Antho ny Dolski , officiating.
