  Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffmann, 91, died Thursday noon after a two day illness at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Koehler, St. John Calumet County. Mrs. Hoffmann was born in Charlestown April 4, 1864, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Nisler. April 18, 1893 she married George Hoffmann at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. The couple lived on a farm south of Charlesburg until the death of Mr. Hoffmann in 1938. Three years later Mrs. Hoffman moved to the Koehler home and has lived there since. Survivors are two sons, Joseph of New Holstein and August of St. John, two daughters, Mrs. Ferdinand (Theresa) Leitner of New Holstein and Mrs. Robert (Anna) Koehler of St. John, 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home in Chilton and a solemn requiem high mass will be offered at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. Officials of the mass will be Rev. Francis J. Melchiors, pastor and celebrant, the Rev. Leonard Woefel of St. John's, deacon and the Rev. Lambert Scanlon of New Holstein, sub deacon.
