  Jeffrey Carl Remmel, 55, New Port Richey, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 5, 2015. He was taken from us by a hit and run driver. He was born on June 25, 1960 and lived in Appleton until moving to Florida in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; son, Jason (Laurie) Remmel; adopted son, Mikael Remmel; daughter, Kellee (Andrew) Fabre and one granddaughter, Aubrey Remmel. Also survived by his parents, David and Janice Remmel, two brothers, Peter, Dennis (Kathy) and also survived by a niece and two nephews. His funeral will be held in New Port Richey, Florida and arrangements are pending. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on Sept. 13, 2015
