  BERTHA PAUTZ Mrs. William Pautz (photo) nee Bertha Jahnke, 70, of the village of Maribel, died Friday morning at her home following a lingering illness. Mrs. Pautz was born in 1880 in the town of Montpelier, Kewaunee county. In 1899, she was married to Mr. Pautz. The couple has lived in Maribel the past 15 years and celebrated its golden wedding anniversary two years ago. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, at St. John Lutheran church, Maribel, Rev. R. Koch officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Ormie and Edward, both of Maribel; two brothers, Albert Jahnke of Adams, Wis., and August Jahnke of Tucson, Ariz.; one grandchild and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Knudson funeral home, Denmark, from Saturday evening until Monday forenoon when the casket will be moved to the church to lie in state until time of services.
