  Mrs. Wm. Oldenburg, of Charlestown, died on Sunday morning last at the age of 48 years, 3 months and 11 days. Jennie Elizabeth Wagner was a daughter of Henry Wagner Sr. She was born in the town of Charlestown June 9, 1865, and was married to Wm. Oldenburg November 14, 1874. During her life she was highly respected by her neighbors and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and her death will cause a vacancy in the family circle which is impossible to fill. Her illness was of less than a week's duration, and the sudden taking away was a shock to the community. The funeral took place Wednesday from her home, Rev. W. A Arpke of this city having charge of the services. Besides a husband and six children, she leave a father, 93 years of age, three brothers, Henry, Adam and Ansel Wagner of Charlestown, and three sisters, Mrs. C. Kamps of Chilton, Mrs. C. Westphalen, of Charlestown and Mrs. Dankenmeier of Clark County to mourn her death. Jennie Oldenburg Chilton Times September 26, 1903
