  Ruth M. Zahn, age 78, of Chilton, died on July 19, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born July 6, 1929, in Brillion, daughter of the late Emil and Minnie (Arnhoelter) Enneper. She married Merlin Zahn on March 6, 1948, in Brodhead, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2006. During her life, Ruth worked for the Calumet County Sheriff's Department and cooked for the Chilton School District for many years. She was a member of Ebenezer UCC in Chilton and the American Legion Auxiliary. Ruth also enjoyed flower gardening, baking and camping in Door County. Survivors include her children: Donald (Diane) Zahn, New Holstein; Vicky (Dave) Schmitting, Hilbert; five grandchildren: Doreen (Ben) Schoenborn, David (Lori) Zahn, Danette (Russ) Wilz, Lisa Schmitting, Brian Schmitting; six great-grandchildren: Tim and Ashley Schoenborn, Lucas Wilz, Kendra and Brittany Mirsberger, Cody Wilz; and two sisters: Viola Olsen, Door County, and Lois (John) Davis, Texas. She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Walter, Eric, Harold, and Eddie Enneper; and four sisters: Alma Hansen, Helen Keller, Ermie Werner and her twin sister Ruby Pohland. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Kathy Gloff officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service on Saturday July 21, 2007. Online Condolences
