  Larry "Smiley" Treml, 63, Little Suamico, died Friday, April 27, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 18, 1944, in Shirley, Wis. to the late George and Viola (Kurth) Treml. In 1981, Larry met Donna (Vande Walle) Belair and Larry was not sure if he wanted to become mixed up with a widow and her four children. Two months later, he told Donna that he had never had as much fun in his entire life as he had in those two months. They were married three months after that at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere. Larry became a husband, father and grandfather all on Oct. 16, 1981. Larry was a farmer for many years until 1986, when the farm was sold. For the next 20 years he was employed at Samuel's Recycling as a baler. He enjoyed the times he had after farming all those years. He loved having vacations and weekends off, camping at Harbor Village and taking several cruises. Larry is survived by his wife, Donna; four children and their spouses, Cathy and Brad Smoldt, Buffalo, Minn.; Cindy Mustful and her fiance, Scott Marshall, St. Louis Park, Minn.; Carol Belair, Chris and Jim Luzar, all Bloomington, Minn.; grandchildren, Randy and Kelly Belair, Amanda and Travis Vail, Melanie Mustful, Jamie Mustful, Krista Marshall and Tanner Marshall; great-grandchildren, Hailey Vail, Raina Belair and a great-granddaughter due in June; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Marie Vande Walle, Earl and Margaret Vande Walle, Jim and Dorothy Vande Walle, Lorraine Belair; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Betty and John VanHandel, Marge Treml, Randy Treml and Carlotta, Dan and Vicki Treml; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Al and JoeAnn Belair, LaVerne and Russ Winters, Bonnie and Joe Buchanan, Pat and Ed Anderson; special nieces, Lisa and Sue; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jerry Treml; a sister, Debbie Treml. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday (TODAY). A Parish Wake Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday (TODAY). Friends may also call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., Howard, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Monday.
