  Irma I. Gruett, age 85, of Chilton died on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Century Ridge in Chilton. She was born June 14, 1925 in the Town of Charlestown, daughter of the late Gustave and Elizabeth (Leitner) Bruckner. She married Leslie Gruett on February 15, 1947 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chilton. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1982. During her life, Irma worked at Carnation Company in Chilton, and later Aluminum Specialty in Chilton until her retirement at the age of 65. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly St. Augustine Parish. She enjoyed playing Sheepshead, cooking, and gambling. She also belonged to the bowling league in Chilton, and had much fun bowling with friends. Survivors include her children: Ron (Margie) Gruett of Chilton, Nancy (Dusty) Meyer of Chilton; five grandchildren: Andy, Peter, Ben, Chad, and Melissa; six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Norman and Herbie Bruckner; and two sisters: Theresa Rozman, and Lenora Boll. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter: Linda Gruett; four brothers; and two sisters. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating.
