  Michael J. "Mike" VanDreel, 46, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 5, 1961, in Green Bay, to William and Dorothy (Tilly) VanDreel. Mike worked as a home builder at Victoria Millworks Inc., for 27 years with his long-time friend, Wayne Dombrowicki. He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry. Mike will be missed by his long-time special friend, Gail Smith; her daughter, Teri Boncher; a granddaughter, Lateacia Smith; his father, William VanDreel; a brother, Mark VanDreel; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and John Rothbauer, Judy and Dave Hill; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy VanDreel. A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (Today).
