  Isidore "Ike" G. Geier,Isidore "Ike" G. Geier,, 83, of Sparta, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Roll ing Hills Rehabilitation Center, Sparta.He was born July 6, 1921, in the Township of Jefferson, Monroe County, t he first-born of 13 children to Basilius and Frances (Rondorf) Geier.He married the former Bertha Schaefer on Sept. 28, 1955, in Sparta. He wor ked as a farmhand in the Coles Valley, Norwalk and Cashton areas. He th en worked as a milk hauler for the former Hiawatha Valley Dairy. He lat er purchased a farm in Coles Valley.He served several terms on the Angelo Town Board. For the past three yea rs he was a resident of Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center.He is survived by his wife, Bertha; eight children, Debra (Perfecto) DeLaL uz, Richard (Debra) Geier, Kathy Geier, May (James) Schwarz, Carol (Eugen e) Treu, Linus (Lori) Geier, David (Susan) Geier and Barbara (Ed) Downin g; grand-children and great-grand-children, Christina (Lupe) Soto and chil dren, Isaiah, Anastazia, Maria and Jose; Jeremy VonRuden; Manuel "Buzz" (H eather Williams) Perez and daughter, Genessa; David Perez; Naomi (Tom) Ho ff and daughter, Chloe; Brittany Geier; Dana Geier; Renee (Luis) Angel a nd son, Luis; Amanda (Nick Phillips) Schwarz; Erica Schwarz; James Schwa rz Jr. and family; Aaron Schwarz and family; Bradley (April) Treu; Melis sa (Aaron) Brooks and son Ethan; Lindsey Treu and son Carson; Matthew Geie r; Renae (Jamie) Findlay; Heather (Chris) Stelter and children, Morgan a nd Cammi Stelter; Brandon, Austin and Drew Geier; Patrick Geier; Travis, K ashe and Megan Downing; brothers and sisters, Marlene (Larry) Peth, Hel en (Evan) Summerfield, Berdella (Gerald) Butzler, Conalee (Carl) Lewis, Ar nold (Mary) Geier and Larry (Myrtle) Geier; three sisters-in-law, Karen Ge ier, Bonnie Geier and Karen Geier; a brother-in-law, Leonard Von-Ruden; a nd many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Basilius and Frances; three broth ers, Wilbert, George and Omer; and three sisters, Adeline (Raymond) Donske y, Irma (LaVern) Von-Ruden and Annabelle VonRuden.A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday (today) at 11 a.m. at St. Patri ck's Catholic Church, Sparta, with Father James Leary OFM Cap. officiatin g. burial was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Sparta. The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, assisted the family with arrangements.
