  Heuer, Donald C.Donald C. Heuer, Larsen, Wis., 71, died on Friday, March 24, 2006, at S t. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on September 20, 1934, in the Town of L arsen, Winnebago County, the son of the late Carsten and Milda (Engel) Heu er. On July 2, 1955, Donald married Shirley Mae VanDomelen and he was a de voted husband and father. Donald loved his work as a carpenter and built m any fine homes in the area. He also enjoyed hunting, woodworking, craft s, logging and woodcutting, and his favorite pastime was fishing with h is "companion" yellow lab, Goldie. Donald was a member of St. Peter Luther an Church in Larsen.He is survived by his wife, Shirley; three daughters, Julie Ann Heuer, Mad ison; Sandra Lee Wardley, Larsen; and Tammy Jean (Chuck) Harrer, Neenah; t hree brothers, Meredith (Sharon) Heuer, Neenah; Nathan Heuer, Larsen; Merw yn Heuer, Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Margaret (Don) Writt, Waupac a; Diane (Dick) Pound, Larsen; and Donna (Gary) Puls, Larsen. He is also s urvived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, David Heuer, two n ephews, Brian and Randy Heuer.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 11 a. m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 8630 County Rd. MM, Larsen. Pastor Bri an Krueger will officiate. Friends may call at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fre mont on Monday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church fr om 10 a.m. until the time of service.
