  Rucks, FriedaFrieda Rucks, formerly of Oshkosh, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 1 5, 2006, surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born De cember 3, 1907, to John and Claire Spiegelberg Hoppe in Bonduel, WI. She m arried Lyman L. Rucks on April 30, 1928, in Illinois. Frieda loved to crot chet. She particularly liked to crotchet afghans. She also loved to play c ards. One of her favorite pastimes was to do puzzle books. Family was Frie da's life.Survivors include her daughters: Marian Boldt of Plymouth, Virginia (Joh n) Phillips of Oshkosh, and Mildred Phillips of Greenville. One sister, Vi ola Daniel of Shawano and one daughter-in-law, Judy Rucks of Fremont al so survive Frieda. Further surviving Frieda is ten grandchildren and 17 gr eat-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman L.; one son, Lyman R.; t wo sons-in-law, Kenneth Phillips and Harry Boldt; two brothers and one sis ter.The funeral service for Frieda will be on Sunday, August 20, at 3:30 p. m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1206 Ontario Street. Pastor Paul Lidtke w ill officiate. Friends may gather at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the t ime of service. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.The family would like to thank all of the staff at Affinity Hospice for t he love and care they gave to Frieda.
