  Simon, Dorothy Mrs. Henry Dorothy Simon, age 85, went to be with Jesus in her heavenly home Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Colony Oaks Care Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Lena, WI, daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Konieczny) Bublitz. She graduated from Kaukauna Normal with a degree in education. Dorothy married Rev. Henry E. Simon July 9, 1944, sharing 62 years together. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, a past member of the Ladies Guilds at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Lily, WI; St. Matthews Lutheran Church White Lake, WI; and Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton. Dorothy is survived by her husband Rev. Henry E. Simon of Appleton; a daughter Lo Simon of Appleton; two sons and daughters-in-law: Rev. Henry A. and Mary Simon of Odenton, MD; James L. and Bonnie Simon of Watertown; three grandchildren: Christina, Angela and Matthew; a great-grandson: Joshua; a brother-in-law: Art Kriewaldt of Shawano; a sister-in-law: Mary Jane Bublitz of Green Bay plus many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Kriewaldt. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale St., with the Rev. Paul Brinkman and Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Bonduel at 3 p.m. The visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Monday, from 10 am until the time of service.
