  Elizabeth J. "Betty" Wenzel, age 95, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha. She was born on January 19, 1915, in Eau Claire, WI, the second youngest of 9 brothers and sisters, all who have preceded her in death. Betty and her husband Bernie were married for 75 years and enjoyed 21 years of retirement in Pharr, Texas, golfing, playing bridge and square dancing. Betty is survived by her son, Ronald (Mary Ann) Wenzel and daughter, Janice Van Airsdale; six grandchildren: Robert (Lynn) Wenzel, Michael (Elizabeth) Wenzel, Mary Sue (Paul) Semanek, Vicki (Kurt) Maurer, Steven Van Airsdale and Julie Gerrits; 14 great grandchildren, Dr. Theresa (Jacob) Weerts, Lauren Wenzel, Tim (fiance Christina) Wenzel, Ann Wenzel, Nick Wenzel, Brian Semanek, Sara Semanek, Michael Semanek, Ashely Mueller, Lindsey Mueller, Ryan Schmidt, Becky Schmidt, Tyler Schmidt and Cole Van Airsdale and a sister-in-law, Virginia Derouin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie on March 17, 2008, infant son, Michael and son-in-law, Jack Van Airsdale. A private memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.
