John J. Phillips, 44, of Kimberly died Tuesday September 6, 2011, with his family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 18, 1967 in Illinois, son of Kathleen (Corrigan) Creager and the late Carl Phillips. John is survived by his two daughters, Holly Phillips, Appleton, and Hannah Phillips, Appleton; His mother, Kathleen (Ray) Creager, Huntington Beach, CA; four sisters and brothers, Susan Schultz, Huntington Beach, CA, Scott (Jackie) Phillips, Kimberly, Beth Gasper (David Keddell), Waupaca, and Dan (Ann) Phillips, Appleton; 10 Nieces and Nephews, Shawn Phillips, Jenele Schultz, Jessica Schultz, Allen Phillips, Sam Phillips, Deena Huss, Nichale Gasper, Stephanie Gasper, Nathaniel Phillips, and Zo? Phillips. His father, Carl and a nephew, Ryan Gasper, preceded him in death. A memorial service for John will be at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday September 10, 2011 at ST. PAUL'S HOME, 316 E 14th St, Kaukauna, with Rev. Paul Halbach officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until the time of service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. John's family would like to extend a special thank you to Sandy, his Hospice nurse from St. Paul Hospice Service, for her care and compassion.
