  Mary A. Heaslip, 64, of 6th Street, Clintonville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at her home. The former Mary Ann Tyler was born March 16, 1944, in the Township of Bovina, Outagamie County, to the late Gordon and Verona (Pantzlaff) Tyler. Mary was an adult caregiver in California and worked as a child day care provider while living in New York. While in the Clintonville area she was employed as a nurse's aide at Pine Manor Health Care Center, Embarrass. She was united in marriage on March 30, 1974, to William G. Heaslip in Sunnymead, Calif. Over Bill's military career, the couple lived in California, New York, Arizona, Maryland, and in 1985 they settled in Clintonville. Her husband preceded her in death on March 22, 2008. Mary is a member of the VFW Post #664 Ladies Auxiliary of Clintonville. She enjoyed craft projects like cross stitching and plastic canvas. Mary especially enjoyed making trips to the casino to play bingo and she loved to decorate her yard for all the different seasons. Survivors include three sisters, Val Quaintance, Bonduel; Doris (Jim) Owen, Schofield; and Barb (Clarence) Zehren, Bear Creek. There is one brother-in-law, Bobby (Francis) Heaslip and one sister-in-law, Pat (Jim) Laffin, both of Staten Island, N.Y. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Judy; three brothers, Lee Roy, William and Marvin, and three brothers-in-law, Norman Quaintance, Michael and John Heaslip. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. The Rev. Roberta Thomson will officiate and inurnment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
