  David C. Neumeyer, 44, De Pere, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008. The son of Norbert and Elaine (Maney) Neumeyer was born Dec. 31, 1963, in Green Bay. David was a 1982 graduate of De Pere High School, where he was a good football player. He lived and worked in Crivitz in the Logging Industry for many years and was currently working for S.P.E Incorporated, Iron Workers Local 8. David enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. His greatest quality was always putting other people first, which included organ donation. Survivors include his parents, Norb and Elaine; his sisters and brothers, Debra (Frank) Prokop, Dennis (special friend, Laura) Neumeyer, Barbara (Thomas) Kiefer, Michael Neumeyer, Threse (Brent) Martin, James Neumeyer and Susan (Matt) Vannieuwenhoven; and David's special friend, Kelsey. He is further survived by nieces and nephews, Joseph (Erin) Prokop, Kayya (Russ) Nau, Andrew (Emily) Kiefer, Lisa Kiefer, Mike Kiefer, Spencer Martin, Miranda Martin, Jason Neumeyer, Bailey Neumeyer, Michael Vannieuwenhoven, Emma Vannieuwenhoven; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. with the parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. with Deacon Kevin De Cleene presiding. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the church with Fr. John Gallagher officiating. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
