  Pfeifer, Harold C., Harold, age 84, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. He was born November 2, 1923, in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin, son of the late Henry and Esther (Rosenthal) Pfeifer. He graduated from Glenbeulah High School. He married Irene Lobner-Halverson July 4, 1963, sharing 34 years together before her death December 6, 1997. In his early years, Harold farmed and was employed by the Kohler Company. He then moved to Appleton where he worked for Wisconsin Bell (Ameritech) for 21 years and retired in 1985. Harold was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a loving father to his five stepdaughters and four stepsons-in-law: Mary and Franklin Tauschek, Green Bay; Jeanette and Chris Powell, Tucson, AZ; Arlene and Bill Mader Sr., Appleton; Jacqueline Halverson, Milwaukee; and Debbie and Donald Schreiner, Valders; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews in the Plymouth area. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. John Scott officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church. Harold will be remembered for his smile and always a song on his lips. Also, for his awesome applesauce and Christmas breads. Brettschneider- Trettin-Lederer 606 N. Oneida St.
