  Fred V. Meinke, celebrated eternal life on Thursday, February 19, 2009. He was born March 4, 1914, to the late Frank and Clara (Schwantz) Meinke in Sparta, WI. Fred was a graduate of Sparta High School, UW-Platteville and UW-Madison. He taught Agriculture and Science for over 30 years — most of those years were in Beaver Dam, WI. Fred served honorably twice in WWII. He married Kae Constantine on September 23, 1945. Kae preceded Fred in death by 15 days. He is survived by two daughters: Conni (Mike) Duranceau, and Elaine (John) Vilker; three grandchildren: Christine (Rob) Pierangeli, Jeff (Lynn) Vilker, and Billy (Karen) Duranceau; seven great-grandchildren: Graziella and Alina Pierangeli, Madelyn Kae and Jackson Vilker, and Evin Kae, Lorenza and Zoe Duranceau. He is further survived by his sister, Lucille, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Kae; brother, Earl, sister, Leona, grandson, David Duranceau, and great granddaughter, Isabella Duranceau. Family and friends may call Tuesday, March 3, 2009, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at church, with the Rev.
