  Ronald W. Zimmerman, 61, Pulaski, died Monday, August 17, 2009, at his home after an eight week toleration of cancer. He was born August 4, 1948, to William and Mabel Zimmerman. He graduated from Appleton West High School. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He was very proud to have served his country. In 1971, Ronald married Charlene Edler of Sheboygan. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; a daughter, Renee' (Richard) Svevad, Holland, Mich.; a son, Darren (Lori) Zimmerman, Lodi, Wis.; a son, Duane (Shelly) Zimmerman, and their children, Thad and Cady, all of Ellsworth, Iowa; his mother, Mabel Zimmerman, Appleton; three brothers: Richard (Donna) Zimmerman; Jeffery Zimmerman, Ronald (Sheila) Edler; two sisters: Linda (Thomas) Swaim, Pamela (Paul) Salmon; a sister-in-law, Sandra (Doug) Perronne; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his God-Given Father, Frank F. Kiel; his father, William O. Zimmerman Jr.; his loving grandparents, William O. Sr. and Mamie Zimmerman, and Mr. and Mrs. John Miller. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneral Home.com.
