  Kelly, Charity "Honey" G. Charity "Honey" G. Kelly, age 94 of Clintonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 peacefully at her home. Honey was born on December 10, 1914 in Marion, the daughter of the late Dr. Frank F. and M. Maud (Meyer) Mulvaney. After attending grammar school in Marion, she continued her education at St. Joseph Academy, Green Bay and at the College of St. Theresa, Winona, MN. This led her to teach High School in Bear Creek for two years. On June 9, 1938 she married John "Jack" Kelly at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marion. The couple first moved to Clintonville then Marion. In 1949 they moved to Pomona, CA because of Jack's employment with the F.W.D. Corporation. Honey's activities in Pomona, included a Cub Scout Den Mother, President of St. Joseph High School & Grammar School P.T.A.. In 1953, she received the mother of the year award in CA for family and civic causes. She was a Zonta Club officer, served on the Catholic Welfare Board, a member of the St. Joseph Alter Society, a member of the board of directors for the Young Ladies Institute, a member of the Pomona Valley Community Hospital Board and chairperson for the United Fund residential division. In 1965, the Kellys returned to Clintonville where after raising a family, Honey taught at Clintonville High School. There she made friends among staff and students. Jack preceded his wife in death on May 17, 1999 after 60 years of marriage. Honey was a faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. She had belonged to the Clintonville Behling Belles, the Clintonville Riverside Golf Club and a member of the Marion Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, her many flowers and plants and playing cards with her friends, especially bridge. She was a fervent Packer fan since her high school years in Green Bay. Honey was a devoted Catholic who strongly but quietly shared her Christianity, truly living a life of charity. Survivors include three daughters: Peggy (Curry) Koehler, Cascade, ID; Kathleen Peterson, Stoddard, WI; Maureen (Thomas) Terich, Bellingham, WA; five sons: Michael (Linda) Kelly, Ventura, CA; Patrick (Marie) Kelly, Claremont, CA; Timothy Kelly (Special Friend: Lynn Geiger), Oshkosh; Daniel Kelly, Brule, WI; Rogelio Talamantes Barnola, her adopted son who was a Rotary foreign exchange student in 1968 1969 from Agauscalanties, Mexico; a daughter-in-law, Janice Kelly Gervase, Fullerton, CA; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Mary Muvaney, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, a son, John, a son-in-law, Robert Peterson, two grandchildren: Daniel Kelly, Linda Koehler and a great-granddaughter, Savannah Charity Peterson; three sisters: Faith (Sister Agnes Bernard S.J.), Hope Schmuler, R.N., and Petronella (Harold) Heuer; two brothers: Rev. Bernard Mulvaney and John Mulvaney, M.D. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville and after 12 Noon Monday at the church until the time of the service. A Parish Prayer Service held 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred and may be directed to the Kelly family. Condolences may be sent through www.eberhardtstevenson.com
