Bruce Kluge, age 61, Hortonville, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center following a short illness. Bruce was born on December 24, 1947, in Appleton, son of the late Leo and Mildred (Schroeder) Kluge. On October 26, 1968, he was united in marriage to Jane Ann Wolfe. He was a resident of the Hortonville area all his life and was employed at Riverside Paper for 37 years. He was a charter member of the Hortonville Grand View Golf Course. Bruce enjoyed life especially his family and his special granddaughter, Hadley "Sugar Bush." He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, trips to the Casino, and most recently his trip to Lofton, NV. He was well known for his good sense of humor and storytelling (at least for getting them started). Bruce is survived by his wife, Jane Ann, daughters: Jennifer Kluge, New London; Danielle (Charles) Reed, Hortonville; their daughter, Hadley Myra Jane Reed; a son, Christopher Kluge, New London; two brothers: Gary (Darlene) Kluge, New London and Randy (Dawn) Kluge, Hortonville; a sister Lu Ann (James) Bartlett, Hortonville; three brothers-in-law: Tom (Sue) Wolfe, New London; Doug (Pat) Wolfe, Waupaca, and Jack Meshke, New London; and a sister-in-law, Jeanne Wolfe, Lakewood. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James, brother-in-law, Larry Wolfe and a sister-in-law, Jean Meshke. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff in C.C.U. at Theda Clark Medical Center. Funeral services for Bruce will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville, with Rev. Greg Watling officiating.
