  Julie Wilz-Reich, age 51, Menasha, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday, November 7, 2009. She was born on June 14, 1958, in Menasha to James Wilz and Donna Cotter. She was in the In-Home Care Industry, a job she truly had a big heart for. Julie was very crafty and liked to needle point and cross-stitch. Some of her passions were gardening, tending to her plants and cooking for her family. She enjoyed all of the wonderful times she had with her friends over the years. Her greatest joy was to be with her grandson Caleb. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two children: Christopher Reich and Sarah Jacob; two stepchildren: Steve and Mike Jacob; a grandson, Caleb Stracy; two brothers: Joe (Brenda) Wilz, Ted (special friend, Toby Essler) Wilz; three sisters, Denise (Greg) Cross, Jenny (Mike) Opay and Lisa Lykins; numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Julie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Herbert and Helen Wilz and maternal grandparents: Richard and Clara Mahoney; a nephew Brian Wilz; one niece Angela Wilz and a very special friend, Will. Funeral services for Julie will be on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, with Rev. David Skarsten officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held on Thursday, at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery, Town of Menasha. A memorial fund will be established in Julie's name. Julie had a heart of gold and she touched everybody's life that she entered. She will be deeply missed.
