  Delores V. "Tootie" Barker, 87, Menasha, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at her residence, with her loving family at her side. Tootie was born on March 28, 1923, in Menasha, daughter of the late Arnold and Emma (Woodner) Buss, Sr. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Barker and he preceded her in death in 1995. After working for 25 years, Tootie retired from American Can. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Menasha, and was very involved with the church activities. She knitted many items for the people of the Abuse Center. Tootie had a knack for growing raspberries and loved to share them with family and friends. Tootie will be missed by her loving family, her daughter, Darlene (Thomas) Rappert; grandchildren, Brenda, Todd (Anne); great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan and Logan; three sisters, LaVerne Brandt, Betty Kline, Arlene Sheehy; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Buss, Pat Barker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Emmett and Arnold, Jr.; two sisters, Loretta (Eugene) and Lorraine; a sister-in-law, Jeanne (Bob); and four brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Lawrence, Thomas and Ray. A Memorial Service for Tootie will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 473 Seventh Street, Menasha, with the Rev. David Skarsten officiating. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Inurnment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha. For all of her friends at Curves who kept a watchful eye on her, we would like to say "Thank You!" I would like to thank Crystal and Gina for their very special love and care for my Mom. I especially want to thank my Aunt Arlene, Whitney and Laura, for opening up their home to us and giving my Mom the love she so deserved. We couldn't have done it without you!
