  Betty LuMaye, 79, Howard, passed away peacefully at a local hospital on July 26, 2010, with family by her side. Born on April 26, 1931, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Fred and Sara (Guilette) Charles. Betty was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School for Girls, where she was involved in drama. On August 18, 1951, she married William LuMaye at SS. Peter & Paul Church. Betty always had a kind word, and a loving smile for those that she met along her way. She is survived by five sons, Bill (Jen) LuMaye, Raleigh, North Carolina, Dick (Amy) LuMaye, Black Creek, Don (Karen) LuMaye, Suamico, Bob LuMaye, Appleton, and Dave (fiance, Karen) LuMaye, Freedom; nine grandchildren, Ben, Nichole, Mike, Donny, Andy, Dave, Amber, Heather, and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Madeline Wery; one sister-in-law, Del Charles; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, "Bud" and Rich Charles; one brother-in-law, Jules Wery; and one sister-in-law, Agnes Charles. Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Green Bay, Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 6 p.m. Thursday at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home.
