Clyde "Bernard" Skenandore, 74, Oneida, died on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at home surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 29, 1936, in Oneida, to the late David and Josephine (Webster) Skenandore. Clyde attended Beauty Grove Elementary School. In 1956, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gambling, traveling, spending time with nieces and nephews, and a home-cooked meal. He was a huge Harry Potter fan. Survivors include his siblings, Mike Hill and Kate Stevens; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy J. (Artley) Skenandore, Virginia (Jerry) Skenandore; as well as many nieces and nephews, and his very special friend and caretaker, Blaine Ackley. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Arnold, Artley, Jerry; and an infant brother and sister. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, after 8 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, until time of service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kristina Henning, and Deacon Deborah Heckel officiating.
