  Nickolas Gene Folger, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. He was born on September 19, 1986, in Appleton; son of Donald and Nikki (Harris) Folger. Nick attended Huntley Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School and graduated from Appleton North High School in 2005. Nick loved his family and friends openly through his generosity and graciousness. His sense of humor was clever and unique and he shared it freely. Nick will forever be remembered for his kindness and caring nature. He worked with Sure Clean, Appleton and was a die-hard Packer fan. Nick had a passion for music and was a gifted, self-taught guitar player. He loved to share his talent with his nephew and enjoyed attending concerts and discovering new bands. Nick had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished the wild places he had experienced. He treasured the camping trip to Canada with his loved ones and enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Nick spent days with his friends getting coffee; playing basketball, baseball and soccer, disc golfing and skateboarding. He is survived by his mother and father, Nikki and Donald Folger, sister, Danielle Lindenger, brother-in-law, Joshua Lindenger, nephew, Julian Lindenger, sister, Courtney Folger, brother-in-law, Cesar Turrubiates, brother, Cameron Folger, grandparents, Francis and Brenda Bauer, Ronald and Patricia Harris, Sharon Folger, godfathers, Uncle Brian Harris, Uncle Nathan Harris, and also by many aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends and his beloved bulldog, Ivy. A Service of Remembrance for Nick will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m and a light meal/refreshments will follow the service at the funeral home. Valley Funeral Home 2211 N.
