  Richard W. Prellwitz, age 71, of Neenah, formerly of Oshkosh and Appleton, passed away due to pancreatic cancer with his family at his side at his home on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. He was born on January 27, 1936 in Ripon, Wisconsin a son of the late Harry and Eleanor (Comer) Prellwitz. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1954 and married the former Barbara J. Culver on September 22, 1956 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ripon. Richard was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned the Eagle Scout Award with gold and silver palms and was also a member of the Arrow Brotherhood. Richard proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1954 until 1962 in Korea and was a member of Post #38 of the American Legion in Appleton. He was employed in the soft drink industry, namely sales, production and distribution for Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Richard greatly enjoyed dartball, traveling, the EAA, and family gatherings. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
