Beverly Behrent, age 81, of Appleton, died peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at St. Paul Home. Beverly was born in Appleton on June 7, 1931 to the late John Wesley and Helen Ruth (Greeley) Hamilton. On July 15, 1949, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Behrent. The couple enjoyed 61 years together until his death in 2010. Beverly was a clerk at H. C. Pranges for many years - she also worked at Zwicker Knitting Mills. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and First English Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son Michael, Little Chute; three grandchildren: John Behrent, Richard (Carrie) Behrent, and Kenneth Behrent; two great granddaughters: Alicia and Alexandra Behrent; three great grandsons: Austin, Bryce, and Reece Behrent; brother Maynard Hamilton, San Antonio, TX; and a sister Carole "Corky" Hamilton, Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A Funeral Service will be held at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 11, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
