  At St Mary's Hospital, Milwaukee, on Monday, Feb. 2, 1885, Andrew Hurley, aged 35 years, 9 months and 16 days. The deceased was a son of John Hurley, one of the early settlers of the town of Chilton. He was born in the town of Chilton, April 16th, 1854. He was taken sick with dropsy of the heart two and a half months ago, and as he was failing fast was advised to visit Milwaukee and consult some of the ablest physicians, which he did two weeks ago. On Monday a telegram was received that Andrew was very low, and on Tuesday his brother William left for Milwaukee, but before he reached his bedside his spirit had passed to that home from which no traveler returns. His remains were conveyed home and the funeral took place from St. Augustine Church on Thursday. He was followed to his final resting place in the cemetery by a large concourse of friends. Andrew was an upright and honorable young man and his departure will be deeply regretted. The bereft family have the sympathy of the entire community in this sad hour.
