  Cornelius Brass, 74, a life-long resident of Sheboygan County, passed away at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ochs, town of Herman. He had been ill since January. Mr. Brass was born Dec. 22, 1876, in the town of Herman, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Brass, early county residents. He was married on Dec. 3, 1899, to Miss Anna Kuhn. The couple celebrated their golden anniversary on Dec. 3, 1949. He was a director of the Mosel and Centerville Telephone company for 40 years, and for the past 18 years has been a director of the Howards Grove State bank. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Viola) Wegner and Mrs. Paul (Olga) Ochs, both of Town Herman; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and one brother, Gustave, of Portland, Ore. His parents, three brothers, and four sisters preceded him in death.
