  Born January 18, 1917 in Appleton to Louis and Genevieve (Alberty) Rechner, Rita Rechner, 74, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton on January 15, 1992. A graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Green Bay. She married Sherman Heideman on May 10, 1941 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Appleton. She retired in 1981 from St. Elizabeth's after working twenty-one years as a registered nurse. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where her service will be. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Robert, John and Carl. She is survived by her husband; brother, Francis Rechner; two sisters, Helen Alferi and Annette (Sister Jean Louise) Rechner SSND.
