  Barbara Ann Elliott, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 9, 2017 after a long illness. Barbara was born on July 22, 1937 in Shawano, WI, the daughter of the late August and Laura (Blumke) Rusch. She was married to Wayne Joseph Elliott on April 14, 1961. Barbara was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. She loved happy hour and Friday night fish fries. She survived by her daughter, Lori (James) Dorschner; son, Scott (Krystle) Elliott; sister Betty Panko; grandchildren, Heather Halverson, Alicia and Mitchell Elliott and their mother Sherri Elliott. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; brothers Harry (Mary), Roger, Harvey (Judy) and Gordon; sisters, Agnes (Walter), Lorraine (Robert) and Adeline; and her beloved dog, Max. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Valley Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. followed by a committal service at Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mom, we love and miss you.
