  Otto Reineking, aged 72, life-long resident of Herman township passed away today at the home of his son, Oscar, after a prolonged illness. Born July 13, 1867, on the present homestead, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Reineking, deceased attended the rural school and was confirmed in the Emmanuel Reformed church in Herman township. On May 22, 1897, he was married to Emma Wickesberg by the late Rev. Mr. Martin, after which ceremony the couple settled on the homestead. Prior to his marriage he was engaged in carpenter work. He was an active member of the Emmanuel Reformed church. Survivors are the widow; four sons, William, Route 1, Sheboygan, Oscar, route 3, Plymouth, Gilbert Martin and Arno of Sheboygan; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Henschel of Cleveland, Ohio, and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Reformed church the Rev. Clarence Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery adjoining. Otto Reineking Sheboygan Press April 19, 1940
